Features

Be-Maps is an application which connects the close ones on the map. Very useful to increase location and safety awareness of one group of close relationships. It also helps to minimise the stress and the worrying factor (for example: where is my mummy or daddy picking me up from school).

Main features include:
• On map alerts
• GeoShapes monitoring
• Proximity monitoring
• Simple one-tap-geo-tags: I'm OK, I'm Late, I'm not OK
• On map messages: text, voice and video
• Personal notes: voice and video
• Device usage and screen time: monitoring and in GeoShape restrictions (useful when your kids overuse the phone)

Be-Maps can also be used on its own as a single stand-alone application for one person safety log.

On Map Alerts

One of the devices of your Be-Maps group may trigger Alert Mode. In this case that device starts sending the following data (only to configured devices from your Be-Maps group): recordings of surrounding, photos of front and back camera (each minute, and on each phone open), location.

Alert receiving devices are notified the alerts are turned on, and can see the alert data on the Be-Maps map. You may view or listen to the data from the map. Based on all these information you may react ... for example ... contact and direct emergency services to that last known location ... or go yourself and help ... or turn off alerts when these are not necessary.

NOTE: Alert might be triggered for various reasons: the person feels is in danger, cannot call you but wants you to know what is going on, or sometimes alert is triggered by accident.

NOTE: Devices with Advanced status may turn off alert mode remotely.

GeoShapes Monitoring

You can see on the Map View who is where (note: only when the device shares location data). Define GeoShapes per device ... Places, Paths and Zones and be aware if people you care about are:
• On the way from work or school
• In the shop, not at school
• Too close to a dangerous zone, not at home

GeoShape Place is a circle defined on the map
Useful to guard/monitor area of 50-100 meters: home, shop (for example if mommy is in a shop, if grounded kid is at home)

GeoShape Zone is a polygon defined on the map
Useful to guard/monitor area larger than 100 meters: school, park (for example if your kid is at school or in the park)

GeoShape Path is a polyline defined on the map
Useful to guard/monitor road from school to home (for example if mommy is on the way to school to pick me up)
Note: define Path with start and end place/zone (the path needs to have its beginning and its end of a journey).

This feature is for safety of you and your closest relationships, helps to minimise the worrying momentum of people who care about each-other (i.e. when somebody is late).

Proximity Monitoring

Proximity feature will notify you if a monitored device is too far or close. You can only set the proximity of a device sharing location.

In proximity window you set:
• Duration of how long the device should be monitored
• Triggering distance for the monitored device
• Option of proximity monitoring

You may choose one of the following proximity options:
• Too Far - might be useful when you want your child to not distance too far in the park
• Close - might be useful to know person picking you up is close, so you can start going

You may set one proximity per one device, which is sharing its own location.

One-Tap-Geo-Tags

We have introduced simple tags, triggered by simple tap on the screen. No typing just tap to get in touch.

With this simple tap types you may inform other devices from your group:
• I am ok
• I am not ok
• I am late

NOTE: One-Tap-Geo-Tag will be displayed on the map of other devices from your group.

On Map Messages

We put messaging on the map. In Be-Maps you can send text and recorded message as one and it will be seen on the map of devices which received it.

Use Be-Maps text messages with attached voice message or video message to be in touch with your close ones.

Note: Your message content is encrypted.

Personal Notes

Voice Notes are useful to keep track all of the information through the day (meetings, your ideas). Simple to take with one of the following start triggers:
• Be-Maps Notification
• Device / phone open
• Be-Maps menu

Voice notes can be turned on/off from Be-Maps or Notification.
Start Now - records surrounding up to one hour.
Phone Open - records surrounding for up to twenty minutes.

Device Usage & Screen Time

When you want to make sure your kids are not overusing their phone or tablet, you may allow the usage to be monitored from that device.

This will give you two types of statistics:
• How long the device was opened in hour or day
• Count of device openings in hour or day

This feature can be used to measure overuse or addiction to the device and will help you realise and manage that

You may also turn on GeoShape restrictions (called No Phone Zone), reminding or not allowing the kid to use the phone in a zone like school, library. This zone restriction will also not allow to record notes in the zones you know and mark as restricted (due to legal or personal reasons).
